QUESTIONS

Private Lessons & Personal Shopping

What should I have for my private makeup lesson?

Bring the makeup, skincare, brushes and tools you currently own. You do not need a large collection, but having a few basics such as foundation, concealer and powder is helpful. We’ll review what you have, identify what works and discuss any gaps before you invest in additional products.

Do I need to purchase new makeup before my lesson?

No. In fact, I recommend avoiding a large makeup purchase beforehand. Your lesson is designed to help you understand which products, formulas and shades work best for you so future purchases can be more intentional.

What will I learn?

Your lesson is customized to your features, current skill level and beauty goals. Instruction may include skin preparation, complexion, concealing, brows, eyes, lashes, cheek placement, lips, product selection and application techniques you can confidently recreate yourself.

What is the Personal Shopping Experience?

Personal Shopping is an exclusive add-on for clients who have completed a Private 1-on-1 Makeup Lesson. Using what we identified during your lesson, we’ll shop together for the products, shades and tools needed to complete your routine. The experience is approximately 60 minutes, with a maximum of 90 minutes. Product purchases are separate from the service investment.

Does Personal Shopping have to happen the same day?

No. Shopping can follow your lesson the same day or be scheduled separately. Same day shopping will include travel time between your lesson location and the selected retailer. If scheduled for another day, applicable travel fees may apply.

How do I reserve a lesson?

Private lessons are request-based. Your preferred date, time and location will be reviewed before your appointment is approved and confirmed.
